    Our Philosophy…<\/h2>\n

    We are lucky to live in a green setting where century-old trees, fauna and flora contribute to the charm of the place. We are more than sensitive to respect for the environment and try to multiply small gestures to preserve the planet.<\/p>\n

    Our daily actions…<\/p>\n

      \n
    • We mainly buy local products from local know-how or manufacturing:\n
        \n
      • Our fresh eggs come directly from Nicolas “En direct du poulailler”, who loves his chickens at Le Castellet<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Seasonal fruits grow in Provence or around the Bastide… you will pass by the orchard of peaches and nectarines, melons and watermelons every morning<\/span><\/li>\n
      • You can taste the fruits of our orchard according to the season: cherries, white fig, grapes, strawberries, and soon plums and apricots…<\/span><\/li>\n
      • The lavender honey comes from the miellerie of the oratory at Le Castellet, to be discovered on site or at the Provencal market of St Cyr on Sunday morning<\/span><\/li>\n
      • The natural dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent are purchased by the litre in containers that we bring to limit packaging. <\/span>To discover in the shops “la Petite Graine” or “Bric \u00e0 Vrac” on Saint Cyr sur Mer<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Organic fair trade coffee<\/span><\/li>\n
      • The succulent wines of Bandol in biodynamic of the bastide Blanche or Domaine Canadel<\/span><\/li>\n
      • The jams are all homemade… with love and little sugar:-)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Shower gels with orange blossom and shea butter shampoo offered in the rooms are natural and made in Ciotat –\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • To discover in the shops “la Petite Graine”<\/span><\/li>\n
      • The waste is sorted and\/or taken to the garbage. <\/span>Do not hesitate to leave your bottles, we collect them daily.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • The trees are treated only with natural products (arboreal white, bouillie bordelaise, sulfur, black soap or clay…) – Nature thanks us with the song of frogs, cicadas and birds, we have more than a 10aine of birds (tapeworms, Crimson\u2019s Hawk, Nightingale, Serin…), many varieties of dragonflies, butterflies and bees<\/span><\/li>\n
      • We leave wild areas in the garden voluntary in order to promote biodiversity<\/li>\n
      • We have installed nests for birds, insects and bats… the little bats eat up to 3000 mosquitoes per night<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Weeds are removed by hand… with patience:-)<\/li>\n
      • We limit the use of air conditioners as much as necessary… We would appreciate it if you did not leave the windows open when they are on and turn them off when you go out for a walk or by the pool.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • We have developed an electronic welcome booklet to limit the paper and guide you in the discovery of the region, discover the markets Proven\u00e7aux and the best restaurants<\/span><\/li>\n
      • The furniture that creates the atmosphere of the Bastide is chin\u00e9, restored, painted and patinated in my workshop that I share with you during the season. <\/span>All my paints and patinas are made in my workshop with natural ingredients (lime, casein, white of Meudon, pigments, beeswax…)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        To start the day off right…<\/h2>\n

        A sweet and generous breakfast will be offered to you on the terrace facing the swimming pool or near the pool house during the summer months. It will be served in our lounge in low season.<\/p>\n

        For the pleasure of all, we promote local and organic products, as well as homemade French specialties. You can taste cakes, pastries and homemade jams, without forgetting to savor the fresh fruit, picked in the orchard according to the season (cherries, figs, nuts, plums, strawberries, grapes\u2026) or buy directly from the farm just next to the Country house.<\/p>\n

        We are very sensitive to respect for the environment. We recycle and limit packaging as much as possible. We buy many organic products in delicatessens without packaging and mainly made in the region.<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Relax by the pool<\/h2>\n

        An azure blue swimming pool of 11m x 4m heated naturally by the rays of the sun, will allow you to observe the hills of Saint C\u00f4me and the many essences of Mediterranean trees.<\/p>\n

        Many terraces will allow you to bask in the sun or in the shade of the pool house.<\/p>\n

        A library will be at your disposal in the pool house.<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        The p\u00e9tanque court<\/h2>\n

        In the shade of the cherry tree and surrounded by the vines, you can enjoy a moment of relaxation on the petanque ground. We put balls at your disposal.<\/p>\n
